Record your 3D products as videos and use them for marketing materials or promotional content.
Access Path:
EVOVA Dashboard > Left Sidebar > [3D Showroom] > [List] > Click Individual Product > Right Stylebar > [3D Editor] > [Record]
What is the Recording Feature?
The recording feature allows you to save 3D product views as high-quality video files (MP4). With this feature:
- Automatic recording with various camera move presets
- Custom camera path recording with timeline
- Record at desired resolution (4K, Full HD, HD, etc.)
- Freely set frame rate (FPS) and video length
How to Record
1. Open 3D Editor
- Click the
[3D Editor]button on the product detail page EVOVA Dashboard > Left Sidebar > [3D Showroom] > [List] > Click Individual Product > [3D Editor]
2. Select Record Tab
- Click the
[Record]tab in the right sidebar of the 3D editor - The recording settings panel will appear
Preset Rotation Recording
The simplest recording method using preset camera moves.
1. Resolution Settings
Select the resolution for your video:
- Current Size: Record at current screen size
- 4K (3840 � 2160): Highest quality
- Full HD (1920 � 1080): High quality
- HD (1280 � 720): Standard quality
- Custom Size: Enter desired resolution manually
Tip: Higher resolutions result in larger file sizes and longer recording times.
2. Encoding Settings
Frame Rate (FPS)
- Choose from 5 ~ 60fps
- 30fps: Standard web video (recommended)
- 60fps: Smooth high-quality video
Video Length
- Choose from 1 ~ 60 seconds
- Appropriate length varies by preset
Video Format
- Automatically saved as MP4 format
3. Preset Selection
Choose from various camera moves:
Default Rotation
- Rotates 360� around the product
- Most basic and versatile preset
- Recommended Use: Overall product introduction
Wave Rotation
- Rotates with up-and-down wave motion
- Dynamic video feel
- Recommended Use: Emphasize depth, show product height
Orbit Up
- Gradually ascends while rotating
- Shows product from bottom to top
- Recommended Use: Emphasize bottom details
Orbit Down
- Gradually descends while rotating
- Shows product from top to bottom
- Recommended Use: Emphasize top details
Zoom In Rotation
- Gets closer while rotating
- Emphasizes details
- Recommended Use: Highlight product details, show finish quality
Zoom Out Rotation
- Moves away while rotating
- Shows overall context
- Recommended Use: Show product size, create sense of space
Spiral Rotation
- Spirals upward while rotating (1.5 turns)
- Spectacular and dynamic presentation
- Recommended Use: Premium product introduction, impactful videos
Swing Rotation
- Smoothly swings left and right (2 round trips)
- Elegant and smooth presentation
- Recommended Use: Luxury products, smooth-feeling videos
4. Start Recording
- Complete all settings
- Click the
[Start Recording]button - The screen will darken during recording
- When recording is complete, the video will appear in the preview area
Cautions:
- Do not perform other tasks while recording
- Do not minimize the browser window or switch to another tab
- Recording time varies based on resolution and video length settings
5. Download
- Check the video in the preview after recording is complete
- Click the
[Download]button - The
recording.mp4file will be downloaded
Timeline Custom Recording
Create custom camera paths by setting keyframes directly.
1. Select "Custom" from Preset Options
- Select
[Custom]from the preset dropdown - The timeline panel will appear at the bottom of the screen
2. Add Keyframes
- Adjust the view to the desired camera angle
- Move the marker to the desired time on the timeline
- Click the
[Add Keyframe]button - Add multiple keyframes to create a path
At least 2 keyframes are required
3. Timeline Preview
- Use the
[Play]button to preview the camera path - Drag keyframes to adjust timing
- Select interpolation method to adjust movement
4. Start Custom Recording
- Set resolution and FPS
- Click the
[Start Recording]button - The timeline will automatically play and record
- Download when complete

Q1. Recording won't start
A: Please check the following:
- Verify browser is up to date
- Chrome or Edge browser recommended
- May not work in incognito/private mode
- Try disabling browser extensions
Q2. Recorded video quality is low
A: Try increasing resolution and FPS. Recording at 4K resolution and 60fps provides the highest quality. Also, maximizing the browser window before recording is recommended.
Q3. Recording takes too long
A: High resolutions and long video lengths take more time to record. For testing, check with lower resolution first, then record only the final output at high resolution.
Q4. Timeline custom recording doesn't work
A: At least 2 keyframes are required. Please add keyframes before attempting to record.
Q5. Downloaded file won't play
A: Use a player that supports MP4 format. You can play it on Windows Media Player, VLC, QuickTime, etc.
Q6. How do I enter custom resolution?
A: When you select "Custom Size" from the resolution presets, fields to directly enter width and height will appear.
Q7. Screen freezes during recording
A: The browser may be using a lot of resources. Try closing all other tabs and shutting down unnecessary programs before trying again.
