Shooting Guide

  • Video and Image Shooting Tips
    • The more consistent the lighting and less shaking, the more precise the 3D item will be.
    • Video (MP4, MOV): A video shot for more than 20 seconds while slowly rotating 360 degrees around the target object (easy and fast method)
    • Images (ZIP): A compressed file of photos taken from multiple angles (recommended: 100-400 images)

1. [Movement] Slowly and Densely

  • 360-degree capture: It's best to shoot while circling around the object at three heights - top, middle, and bottom.
  • Smooth movement: During video shooting, sudden rotations or shaking can cause blurring. Please move slowly while shooting.
  • Sufficient overlap: When taking images, the denser the shots with about 70% or more overlap between adjacent images, the better the results.

2. [Lighting] Avoid Shadows and Reflections

  • Uniform light: Too strong direct sunlight creates dark shadows. A cloudy day outdoors with light shadows or a bright indoor space with softly diffused light is ideal.
  • Fixed light source: Lighting must not change during shooting. (e.g., no flash use, no changing light positions)

3. [Environment] Be Careful with These Objects!

  • Transparent and shiny things: Mirrors can create noise in the 3D item.
  • Moving objects: Leaves swaying in the wind or passing people during shooting create noise. Please maintain a stationary state.
